Energy Infrastructure Acquisition Corporation Rings Opening Bell at AMEX

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 2, 2006 -- Energy Infrastructure Acquisition Corp. (the "Company") (AMEX: EII-U) today announced that its management will ring the opening bell at the American Stock Exchange on Friday, November 3, 2006 to celebrate the company's listing on the exchange.

Mr. Arie Silverberg, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Marios Pantazopoulos, Chief Financial Officer, will be present at this special occasion.

Mr. Silverberg commented: "On behalf of Energy Infrastructure Acquisition Corporation's management team, I would like to express how pleased we are, to be part of the select group of companies listed on the American Stock Exchange. We believe that the demand for energy in today's global economy presents opportunities for consolidation and growth. Energy must be produced, transported, stored, refined and then ultimately distributed so that it can be consumed by the marketplace. Each of these links within the energy chain is typically fragmented and our management believes this presents favorable opportunities for a business combination. In this fast moving and very competitive global business, our management seeks to identify the proper acquisition opportunities that will enable us to create sustainable shareholder value and satisfaction."
