The Diversity Network and CMA Publishing, Inc. Partner to Focus On Issues Affecting Diversity in Higher Education

DETROIT, Mich., Nov. 20, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Diversity Network LLC has entered into a strategic partnership with CMA Publishing, Inc. (Cox, Matthews & Associates, Inc.) of Fairfax, Virginia. The agreement increases CMA's recruiting services to minorities in higher education, and expands The Diversity Network's ability to reach candidates in the education community. CMA is best known as the publisher of "Diverse: Issues In Higher Education."

Clients of both companies will benefit from the partnership as it strengthens the resources of each company, creating a publishing, recruiting and job placement powerhouse with a focus on diversity in higher education. The partnership creates a publishing platform that leverages The Diversity Network's relationships with Fortune Custom Publishing and other national business media partners along with CMA's publishing capabilities. The Diversity Network will host a job board that will include education specific categories and CMA will take a more active role in regional and national conferences and events.

"Those who have kept up with the rapidly unfolding demographic shifts know all too well that higher education depends on strategic alliances with the business community. CMA's partnership with The Diversity Network and the launch of diversejobs.net allows us to continue to leverage our resources for educators and education professionals throughout the U.S.," said William E. Cox, President and CEO of CMA Publishing, Inc.

"CMA is committed to strengthening the educational experiences of those who have been underserved in American education and thereby underrepresented in higher education and many related career fields. This is a natural fit with The Diversity Network, given our relationships with minority job seekers, suppliers and companies looking to diversify," stated Dennis W. Archer, Chairman and CEO of The Diversity Network.
