Agreement to deliver healthcare IT and imaging services to 40-hospital group

Agfa HealthCare announces today that the company has agreed to a multi-million pound deal with the Nuffield Hospital group, a large, private healthcare provider in the UK. The deal calls for the installation Agfa HealthCare's next-generation PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System), IMPAX (TM) 6.2, Agfa's RIS (Radiology Information System), CR (Computed Radiography) systems and Initiate (TM) MPI. The installation will begin in January 2007, with all 40 hospitals expected to be complete by December 2007.
