Xlibris Releases a Captivating Adventure Book Looking Back At Apartheid

MALIBU, Calif., Dec. 1, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Life without freedom, justice and equality is no life at all. Such a life existed long ago in South Africa when people were segregated racially and had to endure a torturous society. With the release of the captivating book And Brothers Once, written by Richard Henry Thiel, a compelling journey about freedom and humanity is about to begin.

Set in the 1970s, And Brothers Once features an engaging, provocative illumination of apartheid in South Africa. The dramatic adventure begins when an American male, Marc Greenwood, is plunged into the gruesome face of apartheid, leading to his own metamorphosis of self. Through his views, readers will discover the intensity behind racial discrimination, the divisions of society and the political forces behind the unrest. As such, conscience compels Greenwood to join forces with anti-apartheid. Will they be able to succeed in their daunting campaign for freedom? Only time can tell.

Richly-layered and well-researched, And Brothers Once brings to life the universal quest for freedom, equality and justice in civilization by looking back at apartheid. It is an extraordinary book that highlights one man's sacrifice to make a difference in society and pave the way for others along the path of hope. Its engaging story will attract the interest of many readers, especially people who believe in social transformation and liberty.
