VuBotics and Oak Ridge National Laboratory Enter Into Agreement to Commercialize VIPAR for VuIT Mine

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. and ATLANTA, Dec. 5, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- VuBotics has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory to commercialize its Virtual Information Process Agent for Research (VIPAR) for VuIT(tm) Mine. VIPAR utilizes hundreds of individually deployed intelligent software agents to autonomously gather and organize massive amounts of information. VIPAR then distills that information into relevant clusters for analysis. This system enables its users to process and distill information up to 10 times faster and more thoroughly than could have been accomplished unassisted.

VIPAR's intelligent software agents were initially developed to address challenges facing the military and intelligence community, and have been successfully deployed for military use by U.S. Pacific Command and the U.S. Sixth Fleet.

VuBotics intends to use this ground-breaking technology to enhance its VuIT(tm) Mine knowledge products that help individuals, and the businesses they support, to sift through the enormity of unstructured and structured data available today for making critical business decisions.

Based on an in-depth understanding of the data retrieval needs of business, VuBotics will use VIPAR to extend VuIT(tm) Mine's capabilities into the Financial Services and Healthcare Industries where VuIT(tm) Online Reader products have already been deployed. This technology will enable business analysts to search disparate databases connected to the internet throughout the world to locate target information, such as stock options trading dates, and collect their related emails, transactions, policies, individuals and events without any complex integration of systems.

VuIT(tm) Mine's capability is expected be the foundation of "real-time" transaction monitoring that the Big 4 accounting firms claim is necessary to make the financial audit process more effective in today's complex global environments. Almost immediately, every executive will also enjoy the benefit of contextual information about their existing financial and compliance processes.

"A growing problem for today's executives is the shear amount of information they receive," said David Rollo, chief marketing officer at VuBotics, Inc. "By providing VuIT(tm) Mine, VuBotics is enhancing the entire concept of decision-making and accountability -- providing professionals with the means to get the whole picture."

A whitepaper about the technology is available at: http://www.vubotics.com/VuITMine.html

Users direct research using VuIT(tm) Mine remotely or directly through an XML interface. The software integrates itself directly into the native application programs through its dock and presents information through a proprietary graphical user interface designed specifically for the user's industry, role and responsibility.

Key features include:

-- User specific intelligent agent deployment
 -- Shared ontological database
 -- Real time data collection
-- Relational search for best practices
 -- Dynamic dock construction
 -- Customizable graphical user interface
