Bjarki Diego has been appointed Chief Credit Officer of Kaupthing Bank, a new position at the group level. Mr. Diego received his law degree from the University of Iceland in 1993, joined Kaupthing in year 2000, and has been Managing Director for Corporate Banking at Kaupthing Bank hf. since 2003. Prior to that he was the Managing Director of Investment Banking in Iceland.
