Stockholm - KPN Broadcast has placed additional orders for deliveries of Net Insight's Nimbra platform
The Dutch DVB-T network is based on Net Insight's Nimbra platform, which also provides nationwide media contribution services. It has been operational since the beginning of 2006 and the equipment will be used to further extend the network.
The order from KPN Broadcast was placed through Net Insight's Dutch partner Alphatron and the equipment will be delivered during this quarter.
Net Insight's Nimbra platform can transport any combination of voice, video and data with the highest utilization of network capacity. This further deployment of the Nimbra platform in the Dutch digital TV network continues to demonstrate the effectiveness of the solution, combining real-time critical DVB-T distribution with real-time contribution services.
