Kemira Water has agreed to acquire Arkema´s coagulants business for water treatment. In 2006, the revenue of Arkema´s coagulants business for water treatment totaled approx. EUR 19 million. Arkema´s coagulants business for water treatment includes three production units located in France and Spain. By this acquisition Kemira would improve its market position for coagulants in France and Spain. This acquisition is subject to information and consultation of Arkema's personnel representatives and to the approval of the relevant antitrust authorities.
