Munters and Folksam sign agreement on water damage restoration in Sweden

Munters subsidiary, Munters Torkteknik AB, has recently signed an exclusive
agreement with the Swedish insurance company Folksam. The agreement covers the
handling of Folksam's water damage claims.

Munters Torkteknik AB (MTT) is a market leader in Sweden within water- and fire
damage restoration, with services also for construction drying, leak detection
and moisture surveys. Quickly drying instead of tearing down and rebuilding
after water damages result in substantial savings for the insurance companies.
Folksam has selected MTT as its first choice among suppliers of water damage
restoration services.

“It is an important agreement, where our ability to comply with Folksam's
national requirements is in the centre of attention. It is in line with the
trend in Sweden, as well as in many other countries in Europe, where the
insurance industry is streamlining and simplifying the purchase and management
of water damages”, says Lars Kåredal Managing Director of MTT.

“We have been working for a long time with developing and coordinating the
methods and the documentation used in our property damage restoration. It
enables us to keep a consistent quality of the work we do all over the country.
We are available round the clock every day of the year in 30 places in Sweden.
That results in fast action in case of emergency, which is key when it comes to
limiting damages caused by water”, Lars continues.

“We have a strong focus on sustainability, and our social and environmental
commitment is in line with the ambitions of Folksam”, Lars concludes.
