NEW YORK, April 9, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Wall Street Journal will host the globe's most powerful and influential executives on the street in the first annual Deals & Deal Makers Conference to be held on June 27 at The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

Is private equity displacing the public corporation as the leading model for business and what are the hottest areas for mergers and acquisition in the year ahead?"
