SIA Kesko Agro Latvija, a subsidiary of Kesko Agro Ltd, opened today a new outlet in Riga, Latvia. The new outlet will primarily focus on Konekesko Ltd's B-to-B sales and the clientele will mainly consist of earthmoving, industrial and forest machinery companies. Konekesko operates in the Baltic countries under the name of Kesko Machinery as part of Kesko Agro's business.
SIA Kesko Agro Latvija's management, financial administration and marketing will be located in the new outlet, which will also house Kesko Machinery's product sales, spare part stock, and service and training centre. SIA Kesko Agro Latvija has about 190 employees in all, about 25 of whom work for Kesko Machinery.
In the planning of new premises, customer expectations concerning after-sales services and opportunities for machinery demonstrations, in particular, have been taken into account. The delivery reliability of spare parts and the fast availability of maintenance services provided the basis when designing the outlet for the growing market. The objective of Kesko Machinery is to improve after-sales customer service and enhance customer loyalty in the company's product representations.
The total area of the Riga outlet is 5,800 sq.m, which includes the sales display, service and maintenance, and storage areas. The outlet is located at Tiraines iela 15, Riga, LV-1058, Latvia and the web pages are available at www.keskoagro.lv.
Kesko Agro Ltd has been operating in the Baltic countries since 1994, when it started business in Estonia.
