Peab to build the motor way outside Enköping Peab has won the contract to build 15 kilometres motorway between Enköping and Sagån in the Västerås direction. The client is Vägverket and the contract amounts to SEK 590 million. The motorway will have two lines in each direction and it will be 400 metres shorter than the present E18. The work also includes two tunnels, 13 bridges and traffic interchanges in Enögla and in Nykvarn, the connecting place with the present E18. The contract also contains construction of 10 kilometres public roads. Work will begin in May 2007 and it is estimated to ready for traffic in August 2010.
