Following a thorough market survey, the Competition Council (Belgium) has come to the conclusion that owing to changes in circumstances on the market for showing films in cinemas in Belgium, the conditions imposed on Kinepolis in 1997 at the time of the merger between the Bert group and the Claeys group are no longer necessary.
