MCLEAN, Va., April 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) employee Dennis McCallam was appointed a United States delegate and co-chairman to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) specialist meeting on research strategy for information security in Network Enabled Capabilities (NEC) held in Brussels, Belgium, April 16-17.

McCallam, an information technology solutions chief security architect within the company's Information Technology (IT) sector, will co-chair a group responsible for providing the NATO task force with the tools to define a common and evolving NEC cyber operations conceptual framework for long-term collaboration among NATO and member nations.
