IT – New addresses and Port numbers to SAXESS Test (21/07)

We are upgrading our SAXESS test environments and the infrastructure. We are centralizing some of the connection hardware. Instead of using the “Hub”-concept we will call them Access Points. This was introduced in Helsinki already September 2004. By doing these changes we will make room for higher capacity and lower latency. The first change in SAXESS test is valid from 28th of May however the current SAXESS Test 3 (SAXTST3) will not be changed on that date, so production like testing can continue without any changes for now. The addresses to the SAXESS production environment will be upgraded together with the launch of SAXESS 4.8.0 22nd of October. We will get back with more information about SAXESS 4.8.0 after the summer.

This means that the change on 28/5 only applies to the SAXESS test 1 (SAXTST1) environment which then will be installed with the new SAXESS 4.8.0 software. Members from all countries will connect to the same IP and ports except Iceland. Please spread your sessions to connect to all addresses and ports if possible.
