Foundry Expands Service Provider Presence With Addition of North American Service Provider Sales Vice President

(Nasdaq:FDRY), a performance and total solutions leader for end-to-end switching and routing, today announced the promotion of Ken Kiser to vice president of North American Service Provider sales. Mr. Kiser joined Foundry Networks in 2002 as a director of enterprise sales on the East Coast and was later promoted to vice president of sales for the East Coast. Under his new role, Mr. Kiser will report to Woody Akin, Foundry's senior vice president of worldwide sales, and will be responsible for Foundry's Metro and Carrier Ethernet Service Providers sales.

Mr. Kiser brings extensive sales management experience to Foundry and he has a proven track record in the Service Provider industry throughout his career. Starting with Bell Atlantic 20 years ago, he has risen to become a crucial member of Foundry's executive team. Prior to his new role at Foundry, Mr. Kiser held key sales and management positions with Force10 Networks, CacheFlow, and Bay Networks.
