SOYO Heads Into Major MMA Weekend With Two Fighters in Two Big Events

Duane "Bang" Ludwig On Showtime Pay-Per-View Friday, June 22, 2007 and Thales Leites On The Ultimate Fighter 5 Season Finale On Spike TV Saturday, June 23, 2007

ONTARIO, Calif., June 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SOYO Group Inc. (OTCBB:SOYO), an innovative provider of computer, consumer electronics and broadband telecommunications products, will head into a big MMA weekend as they sponsor Duane "Bang" Ludwig in his upcoming fight on Showtime Pay-Per-View Friday, June 22, 2007 and Thales Leites in his upcoming fight on Spike TV Saturday, June 23, 2007.

SOYO has been focused on Mixed Martial Arts sponsorships as a way of reaching their key demographic. Since January 2007, the SOYO brand has been seen in over 120 minutes of TV airtime and has been in front of over 700,000 live Mixed Martial Arts fans.

SOYO also sponsors an MMA competition team that competes in everything from UFC, WEC and Bodog, to local shows. Some notable fighters wearing SOYO have been: Tony Desouza (a coach on this season's The Ultimate Fighter), former two-time UFC Heavy Weight Champion Andrei Arlovski and UFC fighter Jamie Varner. In addition, SOYO has appeared in countless Mixed Martial Arts Magazines as well as the Los Angeles Times.

Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States and over-seas. In this key demographic of males 18-35, MMA, and specifically the UFC, beat all other sports in ratings and Pay-Per-View revenue. MMA events are not just beating mainstream sports, but big events such as: Game 1 of the World Series in 2006 and Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks in playoff game 5. Even NASCAR has succumbed to MMA in the ratings war. SOYO delivers in-content advertising to the 18-35 demographic, by providing a message that is not fast forwarded to the consumer.

Ashten Giardine of SOYO says, "As our exposure in MMA and UFC increases, so does our brand awareness with the consumer. We are continuing to gain momentum and continue to see positive results as our company grows and the sport grows."

Currently, Duane "Bang" Ludwig holds the UFC quickest knock-out record after his 2006 fight against Jonathan Goulet at UFC "Ultimate Fight Night 3," held in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he proceeded to knock-out Goulet in 11 seconds. Ludwig takes on Paul Daley on June 22nd.

Thales Leites made his UFC debut last year, when he took on Denmark's Martin Kampmann at the Ultimate Fighter 4 Season Finale. Leites is looking to add another win to his 10-1 record as he takes on Floyd Sword on June 23rd.
