MCLEAN, Va., June 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded a task order by the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) to provide communications, surveillance, data processing and navigational assistance for the Enhanced Traffic Management System (ETMS) and the Traffic Flow Management (TFM) program at the Volpe Center in Cambridge, Mass.
Northrop Grumman's Information Technology (IT) sector supports various Volpe Center programs such as ETMS, TFM and collaborative decision making, ensuring communications, surveillance, data processing and navigational components of the Volpe Center are functioning smoothly.

Work on the task order will be conducted in Andover, Cambridge, and Allston, Mass., with teammate RLM Software, Inc., Allston, Mass.
