BALTIX index to be discontinued

Today after the trading the last value of BALTIX index will be calculated and
published. After June 30, 2007 the BALTIX index will be discontinued and
replaced by the portfolio index OMX Baltic Benchmark, which was launched on
December 04, 2007 as an important part of the new Baltic index family. Baltic
index family also includes Baltic All-share, Tradable and Sector indexes. The
launch of the Baltic indexes marked another milestone in the creation of a
truly integrated Nordic and Baltic securities market.

The BALTIX index was a capitalization-weighted chain-linked total return index
that was launched on September 27, 2004. Historical values for the index were
calculated starting 1.1.2000.
The index was calculated daily using the most recent official closing prices of
all shares listed on the Main Lists of the Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius stock
exchanges. The index constituents were subject to quarterly weight limits of
10% of the compound market capitalization and the weight-limits were applied
during quarterly rebalancings by reducing the indexed share quantities.
