Sport Card Investing Site Created by Investing Professionals Seeks Collectors, Card Shop Owners, or Card Companies to 'Make Markets' for Players Like Reggie Bush, Tiger Woods, and Barry Bonds

SHREVEPORT, La., July 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- "CardFutures.com at http://www.cardfutures.com brings card collecting to the mainstream investing world. Investors will buy and sell cards in units (like shares of a stock) that are easily traded from one person to the next. The platform used will be similar to an Ameritrade, E-Trade, or a Schwab trading environment," says Chester T. Kelley, CardFutures.com co-founder.

"Some sites claim to be a 'stock market for cards' but they fall short in key areas: Low-volume, high transaction costs, and wide spreads (the difference between what someone will pay versus what someone else asks for a card). Those are just a few of the issues that plague other sites," adds Mr. Kelley.

"CardFutures.com will offer traders high volume, low fees, and tight spreads. We will increase volume, lower fees, and tighten spreads with a proprietary trading system. Plus, we give collectors, card shop owners, or others in the sport-card industry the chance to 'make markets' in player cards through our exchange. This will allow collectors, card shop owners, or others in the industry a way to make money on bulk lots of cards they currently have no outlet for monetizing effectively," says the CardFutures.com co-founder.

"There are three basic requirements to make a market with a player's cards. Interested parties must have at least three separate rookie cards of a player, and at least 100 of each card. (If someone wants to market sets or boxes, they will need at least 100 of any set or box). The cards must be in 'near mint' to 'mint' condition. And, participants must allow these cards to trade through our exchange for at least 12 months," Mr. Kelley says.

"We need market makers for all players, all sports, and all years. From Reggie Bush, Barry Bonds, and Tiger Woods to Joe Montana, Hank Aaron, and Wayne Gretzky -- old or new, if someone has the cards, the desire, and the vision, they can make money with CardFutures.com as a 'Market Maker'," concludes Mr. Kelley.

Interested parties, should email their contact information to info@cardfutures.com. They should include their full name, phone number, state of residence, any players whose cards they wish to make a market for, the cards they wish to bring to market for that player (or players), the count of each card. (If someone wants to market sets or boxes, they should include the set or box names and how many they wish to market).
