On 5 July 2007, application was made for 513,281 shares in Galapagos NV (the "Company") to be admitted to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange pursuant to a placement for cash. These shares rank pari passu with the Company's existing shares and dealings are expected to commence on AIM on 11 July 2007.
