BSD's DTT network is built on Net Insight's Nimbra platform and has been operational since March 2006. The core network, which is currently based on the Nimbra One multiservice switch, is now being upgraded with approximately ten high-capacity Nimbra 680 switches.
The upgrade of BSD's core network extends the capacity of existing real-time critical DTT distribution and will also enable future new services.
The equipment will be delivered during 2007.
