Conference Agenda Features Nearly 50 Speakers Representing Energy and the Environment, Life Sciences and Financial Services

CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - February 1, 2008) - The MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge today announced the organizations participating in the International Innovation Fair at its Innovation Summit 2008, "Power, Drugs and Money." The event will be held February 7, 2008 at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston.

The International Innovation Fair will showcase leading innovators in the clean energy, life sciences and financial services sectors, providing attendees an opportunity to interact with representatives from international trade delegations to explore how to effectively conduct business in their respective countries. In addition, the fair will feature themed question pods to facilitate networking with others who have similar interests.

Participants include representatives from Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Massachusetts Office of Business Development, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Spain and the United Kingdom. Companies represented at the fair include BigBelly Solar, Bodega Algae, Clean Catalyst, InVivo Therapeutics, iShoe, Living Power Systems, Myomo, Pyxis Mobile, QM Power and Vanguard Solar.

"Since this year's conference is all about taking New England innovation to global markets, we're pleased to have so many countries participate in the first-ever International Innovation Fair," said Jim Matheson, general partner at Flagship Ventures and volunteer chairperson for this year's conference. "This is just one more facet of the conference that will help to translate the important conversations that are occurring all around New England into positive action."

Industry sponsors for the conference are Arthur D. Little, Flagship Ventures, Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group and U.K. Trade & Investment.

In addition to four keynote presentations and 11 panel sessions, the summit will feature a unique set of short video "lessons" from leading chief executives on innovation. The video stories, part of SoundBoard Media's Fifty Lessons Library, will complement the forum's live discussions by providing first-person perspectives from successful business innovators such as John Abele, founder and chairman of Boston Scientific; Mel Lagomasino, former chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Private Bank; and Paul Skinner, former chairman and CEO of Alliant Energy.
