Ukrainian subsidiary of Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG) opened country's 23rd Olympic Casino investing more than EEK 23 mln (more than EUR 1.5 mln). Recently opened slot casino is located in the old town of Kyiv and has been named Olympic Casino Planeta. The casino with its picturesque interior follows the old town style. Olympic Casino Planeta has 411 square meters of floor space with 50 modern slot machines, 1 electronic roulette and spacious bar area. OEG entered the Ukrainian market in November 2004. After acquiring 5 casinos of Eldorado, one of the most known casino operators in Ukraine, in September 2007, the company now has more than 650 employees in the country. The acquisition, which cost €9.2 million, enabled the company to enter also the market of table operations in Ukraine. Olympic Casino Planeta is the 4th Eldorado casino purchased last year that has been rebranded as Olympic Casino.
