PONSSE PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE PROFIT WARNING 10 SEPTEMBER 2008 AT 09.00 PONSSE'S PROFIT BEFORE TAXES FOR 2008 WILL BE LOWER THAN IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR Ponsse Plc estimates that the company's turnover and profit before taxes for 2008 will be lower than in the previous year. The estimate is based on the fact that the demand for forest machines has declined in certain main market areas as a result of the general economic situation. The company will further specify the whole-year estimate in conjunction with the next interim report.
