NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With love in the air for Valentine's Day, British Airways is offering a series of "low-cost Club World love fares" to the UK from the USA, Canada and Bermuda.
Roundtrip Club World airfares to London from New York, Newark, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Atlanta and Chicago start at $1998, with travel available from April 1, 2009, through May 24, 2009.
All tickets must be purchased by midnight (EST), Monday, Feb. 16, 2009.
Comparable fares to the UK from all other USA and Canadian gateways plus Bermuda also are available at greatly reduced prices. Special low fares also are available to selected cities in Europe from the USA and Bermuda.
British Airways also is offering round trip non-stop business class fares to Paris or Amsterdam from New York for $2098 on their flights operated by OpenSkies, British Airways' subsidiary airline.
Fares must be purchased 50 days prior to departure, with minimum stay one Saturday night and maximum stay is 11 months. Sale prices include fuel surcharges but do not include government fees and taxes of approximately $250 plus the $2.50 Sept. 11 Security fee for USA departures. There is a $20 administrative charge per person when booking through the British Airways telephone call center. Other restrictions may apply.
