Energistics Elects Two New Board Members From Aspen Technology and Infosys

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - April 7, 2009) - Energistics, the upstream oil and gas open standards consortium, announced today that Mr. Michael S. Strathman of Aspen Technology, Inc. and Mr. Prasad Thrikutam of Infosys Technologies Ltd have been elected to its Board of Directors. In addition, Mr. Tom Halbouty of Pioneer Natural Resources, Mr. D. K. Pande of ONGC (India) and Mr. Meyer Bengio of Schlumberger Information Services have been re-elected to the Board.

Aspen Technology's Mike Strathman brings over 37 years of energy industry experience in all phases of oil & gas; exploration and production, refining and marketing, technology, and finance. Strathman earned a Masters degree in Finance from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University.
