BÖWE SYSTEC AG considers further non-recurring negative effects on earnings
in it's consolidated Financial Statements as of Dec. 31, 2008. These
effects are primarily caused by higher expenses for the current
restructuring and efficiency improvement program as well as by additional
valuation allowances and provision for risk given the weaker economic
conditions worldwide.

EBITDA will be affected negatively by approximately EUR11 million. The
preliminary EBITDA now amounts to EUR23 million for the financial year 2008
instead of EUR34 million as reported on March 6, 2009.  Unchanged are the
Group's sales for the financial year 2008 of EUR450 million in total.
These figures are based on BÖWE SYSTEC AG's preliminary and unaudited
Consolidated Financial Statements and are therefore subject to change.
