Attaining a Richer Life Through Faith -- Author Offers Poetry Affirming God's Boundless Insight and Intimate Involvement With Life On Earth

JONESBORO, La., April 25, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- God is in everything. Anyone will discover this simple truth if he or she takes a moment to stop, look closer and reflect, as Veda Duff Tohline adequately demonstrates in her inspiring poetry collection, Poems of Faith for Daily Living, released through Xlibris.

Tohline reveals her prolific poetic abilities as well as her deep faith as she shares this vast collection that touches on every facet of humanity and life on earth in a dynamic yet soulful literary approach. She lends to readers her unique, genial point of view, which she expresses through lilting rhymes in framing New Year into a new package and presenting other new beginnings.

She affirms God's presence and the abundance of lessons in nature and inventively traces the origins of a drop of water back to the time of Noah and the Great Flood, Moses and Deborah. Tohline admonishingly reminds about the repercussion of thought and action, and finds meaning and depth in the ordinary things. Showing extraordinary courage, she faces the certainty of death through her boundless literary creativity and insight.

As she moves from one topic to the next, Tohline openly displays the constant star that has guided her towards which she heads for: God. In Poems of Faith for Daily Living, Tohline demonstrates God's limitlessness and boundless insight in planning the universe down to the most microscopic detail -- literally -- to meet every need of his every creation. She leads readers into seeing how involved God is in every aspect of life, human or not, and opens up their minds to other, more Godly possibilities of reaching for one's fulfillment in life aside from what the world currently offers.
