Frankfurt am Main, 27. Mai 2009 - The General Annual Meeting of MEDICLIN
Aktiengesellschaft (MediClin) agreed to the proposal of the Management and
Supervisory Board to pay a dividend in the amount of 5 cent per share.
According to Dr. Ulrich Wandschneider, CEO of MediClin, the reasons for the
dividend payout of 2.4 million EUR in total are the satisfying development
of last year's business and the so far stable business development in 2009.
Also decided was the changed of the registered address of MediClin AG from
Frankfurt am Main to Offenburg. The main part of the administration is
situated in Offenburg in the meantime; therefore the office in Frankfurt
will be now closed completely to save costs.
The items of the agenda which dealt with capital increase and share buy
back were not put to vote by the administrative body, because the company
has another major shareholder since May 20, 2009.
MediClin has raised 38.1 million EUR within the capital increase which took
place in November 2008, which mainly should be used to finance the growth
of the Company. Besides targeting the acute market MediClin has opened a
Medizinisches Versorgungszentrum in Achern/Baden-Württemberg in April this
year, offering medical services in orthopaedic dermatology/phlebotomy. Two
more will start operations in Bonn and Gernsbach probably on July 1st,
2009.
At the annual meeting about 88 per cent of MediClin's share capital was
represented. All items on the agenda which are subject to voting were
passed by over 99 percent of the shareholders entitled to vote.
