"Service dispatching had been a manual process before we implemented this
new technology, so we've seen great efficiencies in service routing,
scheduling, and dispatching which has resulted in improved customer
service," said Doug Wood, RIde Program Manager.
"You'll get to see how we can now schedule the best passenger grouping and
select the most efficient route automatically, send an electronic manifest
to the drivers via their on-board computers, while our GPS system downloads
route instructions direct to the driver," explained Wood.
