On termination of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība participation in Karavella Property Ltd.

There are changes registered at the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of
Latvia on termination of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība participation in the limited
liability company Karavella Property, joint registration number 50003725061.
The termination of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība participation is based on sale of
all its 650 000 (six hundred fifty thousand) capital shares in Karavella
Property Ltd. with the nominal value of LVL 650 000 (six hundred fifty thousand
lats) to Arsenal Ltd., joint registration number 40103206747. 


For information:

Hotel Karavella is a property of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība since 1981.
Considering the technical condition of the property and the substantial
investments that would be needed to develop it further, and the fact that the
hotel administration and management is not one of the core activities of JSC
Latvijas kuģniecība Group the decision was taken to sell the property to an
enterprise in the industry and concentrate on more effective management of the
remaining investment portfolio.
