About the Author

Born and raised in the town of Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania, Sandy Carouth learned to appreciate the simple things in life at a very young age. She lived in Hawaii for two years before moving to Texas in 1979. She worked in the insurance industry in Binghamton, New York, in Honolulu, Hawaii, in Dallas, Texas and in Houston, Texas; earning degrees in Insurance Institute of America and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting. After marrying, she settled in Houston and became intrigued with the vast world of fitness. Her hobbies include writing poetry, line dancing, sewing, reading and singing.
