Follow One Woman's Discovery of Peace -- New Book Is an Official Entry at This Year's California Library Association Regional Book Exhibit

GATINEAU, Quebec, Oct. 26, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The quest for peace and tranquility is a common thing people share. A dramatic tale of discovery and reflection is all set to begin as Xlibris releases Summer Breeze, a new book authored by Andree T. Parent and an official entry at this year's California Library Association show.

The text follows the exploits of Emma, a lady who is about to take a month-long vacation at her summer cottage deep in the Gatineau Valley. Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city of Toronto, she forgets her demanding artist or clients. Being a well-renowned art critic and owner of a famous art gallery, her days or nights are never her own; it's always invitations to parties or galas, meeting famous people, or trying to sell the work of an upcoming artist. Her life was not her own.

What she does not expect, however, is how peaceful and quiet everything would be. She never planned on falling in love with a childhood friend or being harassed by an Italian man; her life was never threatened by truckers, nor by no means was she ever caught in the middle of a drug war. After her holidays, will her life ever be quiet again? Read the book to find out.

Summer Breeze will be featured in this year's California Library Association regional book exhibit, which will be held on October 31 to November 1, 2009 at Pasadena, CA. For more information, please visit Xlibris.com or call (888) 795-4274 today.
