On October 22, 2009, Dr. Cornelius Patt, United Kingdom, has notified us
pursuant to section 21 (1a) WpHG that his percentage of voting rights in
zooplus AG, Munich, Germany amounted to 3.51% (84,790 voting rights) as of
October 21, 2009.

Of these voting rights, 0.58% (14,000 voting rights) are to be attributed
to Dr. Cornelius Patt pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG.
