American Specialty Health and Healthyroads Honored at 39th Annual Creativity Awards


SAN DIEGO, Oct. 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Health and wellness organization American Specialty Health Incorporated (ASH) and its prevention and wellness management services subsidiary Healthyroads were honored with four silver awards at the 39th Annual Creativity Awards this month. The competition is one of the longest-running independent international advertising and graphic design competitions in the world.

Healthyroads received a silver award for its How to Build a Fit Company(TM) guidebook, a unique tool designed to increase employee engagement in corporate wellness programs, and another silver award for its "Healthy Eating is Fun" promotional joke posters. In addition, ASH's "Stepping It Up" 2008 Year in Review and Health Plan Sales brochures were similarly awarded in the Collateral Material, Single Unit and Business to Business categories, respectively. This year, judges from some of the United States' most prestigious design firms evaluated the work produced by their peers and students.

The 39th Annual Creativity Awards received thousands of entries from 37 countries and 37 U.S. states. The competition showcases work from around the globe in the Annual Book published after the close of each year's competition and sold in bookstores internationally.
