FIL Investments International and FIL Investment Management Limited, both
Hildenborough, Kent, Great Britain and FIL Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, have
informed us on 2 November 2009 pursuant to Section 21 (1) WpHG that its
respectively share of the total voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG,
Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a.d. Saale, Germany, fell below the
threshold of 3% on 30 October 2009.

On that date, FIL Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, held 2.80% of the voting
rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 3,863,833 voting rights. All voting
rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG were attributed to FIL Limited pursuant to sec.
22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

On that date, FIL Investment Management Limited, Hildenborough, Kent, Great
Britain, held 2.80% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from
3,863,833 voting rights. Of this amount, 0.02% (30,532 voting rights) is to
be attributed pursuant sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG and 2.77%
(3,833,301 voting rights) is to be attributed pursuant sec. 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

On that date, FIL Investments International, Hildenborough, Kent, Great
Britain, held 2.77% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from
3,833,301 voting rights. All voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG were
attributed to FIL Investments International pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
