HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - November 30, 2009) - Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. (PLANET)
(PINKSHEETS : PRRY ), developer, manufacturer and marketer of PetroLuxus™
and other "Green" technologies for the remediation and recovery of the
planet's resources, is pleased to announce that the company has conducted
preliminary patent research on its new technology for the remediation of
cadmium, mercury, lead and zinc laced waters. The company has determined
that the new technology qualifies for intellectual property rights
protection under patent and will complete application and submittal for
patent and copyright protection.
Last week the company successfully treated and remediated cadmium laced
water. The successful treatment validated the proof of concept of
precipitating targeted metals from contaminated waters. This new technology
is postulated to render the same effect on mercury, lead and zinc
contaminated waters. This new technology comprised of proprietary chemical
compounds, processes and process control software will be a complete
solution to the industry for the remediation of contaminated waters.
At present, the company intends on filing for intellectual property
protection for the reactor process and process controls. Additionally the
software to manage the process monitoring controls will be copyrighted. The
company will keep the chemical compounds that are catalysts in the process
as proprietary property.
Since inception the company has maintained its chemical compounds as
proprietary formulas. This application for intellectual property rights
protection represents a major milestone for the company as it will be the
first technology patented and protected.
