First Invest Capital Holding AG and Damafh S.G.P.S. Lda. under the
leadership of its managing partner Mr. Luis Figo, have agreed to jointly
participate as shareholders in the West Africa Mining Holding AG. Damafh
S.G.P.S. Lda. will acquire 11% of West Africa Mining Holding AG's current
capital stock. Furthermore, Mr. Luis Figo will be nominated for election to
the executive board of the company at the upcoming general meeting. Mr.
Luis Figo has extensive contacts in the financial and commodities sectors,
especially within the Portuguese-speaking and francophone regions of West
Africa. This will open up new synergy potentials for West Africa Mining
Holding AG, which the company will exploit to implement its diversification
goals. In order to diversify its investment and commodity portfolio the
company is currently in negotiations concerning investment stakes in two
current exploration projects for gold and lithium in Senegal.
