Berlin, 3.08.2010: Frogster Interactive Pictures AG, international
publisher of massively multiplayer online games with headquarters in Berlin
and subsidiaries in Berlin, San Francisco and Seoul, has got a new major
shareholder. Gameforge AG, international publisher of online games based in
Karlsruhe, has acquired the shares from the Frogster shareholder pool per a
subsidiary and consequently now holds a stake of 60% in Frogster
Interactive Pictures AG. Furthermore, Gameforge AG has announced a takeover
bid at a share price of 25 Euro. Frogster shall be sustained as an
independent company with its current management and team at its existing
locations, with its own culture and its successful brand names. Currently,
a good 25% of Frogster is free float and curtly 15% in the possession of
the management.

Regardless of the takeover bid, Frogster is focusing on its operative
business, especially on the preparation of the company's appearance at the
leading international computer games show GamesCom taking place in mid
August in Cologne, where Frogster will show its recently announced MMO Game
titles 'Mythos' and 'Tera' to be released in 2011 for the first time. With
their renowned Asian developers and production budgets in the double-digit
million range, these virtual worlds are two of the community's most
anticipated MMO Games worldwide. In the management's conviction Frogster
has got an outstanding pipeline of top quality MMO Games in Europe with
these titles and its 'Project X' from the 'Runes of Magic' hit maker,
Runewaker. For 2011 Frogster expects further acceleration of its
persistant, strong, profitable expansion.
