Rights on August 25, 2010 and now amount to 2.76% (this corresponds to
8,224,184 Voting Rights). According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1,
No. 6 of the WpHG in connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG, 2.76% of the
Voting Rights (this corresponds to 8,224,184 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to BlackRock, Inc.
On August 31, 2010, BlackRock Financial Mangement Inc., New York, USA has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
its Voting Rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg,
Deutschland, ISIN: DE0005785802, WKN: 578580, have fallen below the 3%
limit of the Voting Rights on August 25, 2010 and now amount to 2.61% (this
corresponds to 7,765,408 Voting Rights). According to Article 22, Section
1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG in connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG,
2.61% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 7,765,408 Voting Rights) is
to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management Inc.
