rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad Homburg, Germany, ISIN:
DE0005785802, WKN: 578580, have exceeded the 3% limit of the voting rights
on September, 2010 and now amount to 3.58% (this corresponds to 10,671,634
voting rights). According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of
the WpHG in connection with sentence 2 of the WpHG, 3.58% of the voting
rights (this corresponds to 10,671,634 voting rights) is to be attributed
to BlackRock, Inc.
On September 10, 2010, BlackRock Financial Mangement Inc., New York, USA
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its voting rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad
Homburg, Germany, ISIN: DE0005785802, WKN: 578580, have exceeded the 3%
limit of the voting rights on September 6, 2010 and now amount to 3.43%
(this corresponds to 10,216,328 voting rights). According to Article 22,
Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG in connection with sentence 2 of
the WpHG, 3.43% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 10,216,328 voting
rights) is to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management Inc.

has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its voting rights on Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, Bad
Homburg, Germany, ISIN: DE0005785802, WKN: 578580, have exceeded the 3%
limit of the voting rights on September 6, 2010 and now amount to 3.43%
