IT - INET OTF - OTF closed for maintenance October 4 and 5. Further technical details. (129/10)

On October 4th and 5th the INET OTF environment will be closed for maintenance.

As requested by members, the INET OTF environment has been extended to meet     
customers' requirements to reflect the Production environment setup. An activity
has been initiated to rebalance ports, and prepare the INET OTF environment for 
performance and failover to meet customer expectations.                         

Preliminary date for a full configuration and fully prepared OTF environment is 
set to November 1st, 2010.                                                      

When this activity is done NASDAQ OMX Nordic will offer;

• Scheduled production-like load on selected order books throughout the week and
evenings.                                                                       
• Scheduled failover events on all protocols that will support failover scenario
testing.                                                                        
• New releases/functionality that can be tested in a system that is more        
production- like.                                                               

Configuration of ports:

Some customers will need to change their current primary IP addresses and port  
numbers on ITCH and OUCH connections. NASDAQ OMX Nordic Member services will    
contact affected customers during the next couple of weeks.                     

Enclosed is an appendix with technical information on the reconfiguration of    
current port configuration as well as the new failover port configuration in    
INET OTF.

Old and new ports will work in parallel during the member configuration and     
verification period.                                                            

Failover and load testing schedules will be published prior to Nov 1.

In conjunction with the extension and increased service offering in the OTF test
environment, an update to the Nordic Technical pricelist will be made effective 
from November 1. The updated pricelist will be available during week September  
20.
