Arise Windpower establishes a presence in Gotland


PRESS RELEASE			                      Halmstad, 28 September 2010

Arise Windpower AB (Arise) and Vindshejkerna i Stjups AB (Vindshejkerna) have
signed an agreement giving Arise the right to acquire Vindshejkerna's project
in Stjups to the north of Näsudden on the island of Gotland. The project
comprises existing permits for the erection of six wind turbines with a
combined output of about 18 MW. 

Construction and commissioning are scheduled to take place immediately upon
conclusion of a grid connection agreement but no earlier than autumn 2011. 

The project is the first Arise project in Gotland, where conditions for wind
power are particularly favourable. A continued expansion is planned.
