New record date for consolidation of shares in Central Asia Gold AB (publ)

The board of Central Asia Gold AB (publ) (”CAG” or “the Company”) has decided
on the record date for the previously planned consolidation of the Company´s
shares 1:10. 

The record date will be Wednesday October 20, 2010, instead of as earlier
communicated October 6, 2010. This means that the last day of trading before
the shares are consolidated is Friday October 15, 2010. 

Time table for consolidation of the shares: 

• The record date for the consolidation of shares is Wednesday, October 20,
2010. 

• Last day of trading with CAG´s shares before the shares are consolidated is
Friday, October 15, 2010. 

• First Day of trading the consolidated shares on First North Premier is
Monday, October 18, 2010.
