Netop Solutions wins large order on the US market
Netop Solutions has received an order worth approximately DKK 1.9 million from a major US financial institution within Netop Solutions’ Netop Remote Control product area. The customer has elected to implement Netop Remote Control as a centralised tool to provide secure remote controlled IT support to its employees and for selected hardware at the institution’s branches.
As the leading product in the market for remote controlling of IT, Netop’s Remote Control solutions ensure that customers can operate servers, terminals and ATMs by remote control and provide IT support for users while complying with the strict security regulations applicable to the financial sector, including the US Sarbanes-Oxley rules and PCI security standards.
The financial institution is more than 70 years old and has more than 1.6 million customers and a balance sheet exceeding DKK 100 billion. The institution’s customers are served by about 3,000 employees from more than 265 branches and via more than 1,100 ATMs. The centralised Netop Remote Control solution ensures that a small and streamlined IT support organisation can provide efficient service to both customers and employees of the bank, thereby providing substantial cost economies as compared with alternative solution models.

The financial institution is a new customer who, following a test period and trial of the product, selected the solution from Netop Solutions, security, stability and observance of a number of security and compliance-related factors being major factors in the decision to use Netop Remote Control.
The order is the result of Netop Solutions’ sales strategy focusing on major organisations for which Netop Solutions’ products can contribute to more efficient use of remote control tools and for which security, compliance and risk management are important parameters.
The order does not affect Netop Solutions’ previously announced forecasts for 2010.
