Industry Leader Rick Spitz Joins Cinsay, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer


LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 12, 2011) - Technology and new media veteran Rick Spitz has been named Chief Technology Officer for Cinsay, Inc., it was announced today by Matthew D. Papish, President and CEO, Cinsay, Inc. With more than 25 years of expertise in technology management, Spitz served as Vice President of Software for Apple Computer, is co-founder of ReachLocal, which went public in 2010, and was VP of Product Development at Sungard's Decalog division. The announcement comes on the heels of a recent announcement that Pepperwood Partners of Dallas has entered into a definitive agreement to provide up to $40 million in financing to Cinsay.

The company also has announced the formation of a dedicated health/beauty/skin/personal care subsidiary called CinsaYtions, which already has numerous celebrity contracts in place, including those with Montel Williams, "The View's" Elizabeth Hasselbeck and Supermodel and TV host Kim Alexis.

Rick Spitz is co-founder of ReachLocal. As CTO/VP of Development at WorldWinner.com, he played a key role in that company's transition from startup to a business serving more than 5 million players. Prior to that, he was VP of Product Development for Decalog Inc. (a division of Sungard), where he headed development of financial applications used by the likes of Citicorp, Warburg Pincus and AXA. Spitz came to Sungard from Apple Computer in Cupertino, California where, as VP of Software, he led the Macintosh software development organization in defining and developing such notable Mac products as System 7, Power PC and Quicktime multimedia.
