Libby Gill is an internationally known executive coach, brand strategist and best-selling author of You Unstuck: Mastering the New Rules of Risk-taking in Work and Life. The theme was centered on inspiring excellence in the workplace where attendees learned the benefits of Gill's "clarify, simplify and execute" process while understanding how to maximize their own "leadership DNA."
Sue Klug, president of Albertsons' Southern California division, and Mike Servold, regional vice president of store operations for Ralphs, emceed the event, which included networking, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction.
"After attending NEW's event as a first timer, I was very impressed with the positive direction NEW is paving for present and future leaders in the industry," shared Ariel Fortune, Key Account Manager from The Dannon Company. "It was exciting to be part of a group of talented professionals in a smaller setting that were actually part of something much larger like NEW."
"The event was such a positive experience and a great opportunity to meet some amazing women," according to Director of Marketing at Ready Pac Foods, Tristan Kieva. "I really enjoyed the speakers and topics covered. I am looking forward to the next event."
The next event for the Network of Executive Women's Southern California region is scheduled for Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
