Stratus Technologies Avance Software Now Delivers Uptime Assurance to X86 Servers From the Four Market Leaders

Avance now runs on over 60 server platforms, including systems from Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and leading Intel system builders worldwide.

The company also announced that it has signed its first IBM system reseller, Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation (SCS), to a distribution agreement. SCS will market Stratus Avance software in Japan, providing local small and mid-sized businesses with industry-leading uptime assurance. SCS joins dozens of channel partners who deliver Stratus availability solutions to customers worldwide as members of the Stratus4Uptime channel program.
