The established investment team, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, brings a wealth of collective experience and is institutionally focused, offering Small, SMID and Mid Cap growth equity management for pensions, endowments, state, local, and corporate plans.

The firm was founded by its five principals, Cam Philpott, Lance Marx, David Hand, Hiren Patel, and Sean McGinnis. Prior to founding the firm, the group worked together for nearly a decade at Wells Capital Management as a highly successful team.

Josh Freedman has joined Elk Creek Partners as the company's Chief Operating Officer. Josh comes to Elk Creek Partners from Platte River Capital and brings 18 years of investment industry experience. Ben Hovermale has been named as Managing Director of Trading Operations. Previously at Lucrum Capital, Ben contributes both his extensive background as an equity trader and valuable start-up experience.
